• Ensuring implementation of Quality Control plan, procedures and ITP
• Reviewing WPS, PQR, Welder qualification records.
• Check IFC drawings & weld maps.
• Conduct Welder Performance Qualification Test and procedure qualification test.
• Review WQTR and submit for JCC.
• Review all procedures like PWHT , production weld hardness testing , PMI , control of welding consumables and all NDT .
• Studying and execution of quality plans, inspection and test plans, work instructions and formats.
• Regular monitoring and reviewing of calibrated equipment and test instruments and maintaining records
• Review materials &consumables test certificates
• Inspecting the material regarding Traceability, Physical condition and drawing requirement.
• Inspecting joint configuration of Fit-up prior to weld as per WPS.
• Checking alignment /Orientation of pipes as per drawing.
• Correct level & method of pre-heat applied prior to tack welding
• Monitor weather conditions mainly for site work.
• Monitor pre-heat values and heating method, locations and control method
• Surveillance of welding parameters/Consumables for compliance with WPS
• Monitor storage, issuance and control of welding consumables.
• Monitor welding / purging gasses type, purity, flow rate and control method.
• Welding conditions for root run /hot pass and all subsequent run and inter-run cleaning.
• Monitor inter pass temperatures
• Visual Inspection of final weld profile
• Preparation of final report quality control records for approval and submission of clients.
• Maintain all quality records in compliance with the requirements of QMS.
• Check and monitor NDT methods
• Identify repairs from assessment of visual or NDT reports
• Re-inspect the repair area with visual inspection and approved NDT method.
• Monitoring preheat, post heat, PWHT, Hardness test and review charts.
• Re-inspect with NDT after PWHT
• Review weekly and monthly weld reports like project weld status records, total rejection rate (project wise and welder wise), NDT back log.
• Involve and review meetings & update progress
• Raising NCRs & SORs wherever necessary & ensures that these are actioned
• Reviewing, registering and monitoring trends for all NCRs & SORs
• Analyze the root causes for non-conformities and initiative to take correct and preventive action.
• Co-ordination with Third party and client related QA/QC activities..
• Inspection of jacket pipe welding
• Review of weld and NDT summary

Project : Jazan Integrated Gasification Combined project -KSA
Client : Saudi Aramco
Tank
• Inspection coordination for Fabrication & Erection of Tank and associated Structural.
• Incoming Material Inspection for related to tank work as per the Material test certificates, Specifications & International code requirements.
• Witnessing part identification, punch transfer and approve cutting plans for tank
• Detailed study of cutting plan, Weld MAP for tank
• Stage inspections and documents of Tanks, as per the ITP and applicable standards
• Foundation Level check, annular Plates, Bottom plate laying inspection and material Traceability.
• Witnessing Fit-up Inspection of bottom plates, annular plates, shell plates, Nozzles, COD, Roof Plates And structural,
• Verifying Preheat temperatures, Inter pass temperature maintenance, Post heating of welding activities.
• Weld Visual Inspection of bottom, annular, Bottom, shell plates, Nozzles, COD & Roof Plates.
• Inspection of peaking and banding, roundness and straightness, plumpness, Vacuum box testing, etc.,
• Coordination of NDT contractors to fulfill Project requirements NDT Works
• Witnessing NDT and review of Radiographs/Reports.
• Review of PWHT Charts.
• Inspection of Hydro test accordingly approved procedure in stage wise water and settlement of water.
• Responsible for Final Box up activities like correct installation, removal of temporary devices, installing correct type of gasket, Bolt tightening as per drawing prior to closure of equipment.
• Inspection for Bolt Tightening as per specified torque table
• Review of ECC.
